How to Sell Bundles on Shopify POS: The Complete Guide for Omnichannel Brands
We have spoken to hundreds of Shopify merchants running physical stores alongside their website, and the same problem comes up every single time. The bundle setup is working great online, someone walks into the store, asks for the same deal, and the staff cannot do anything about it.
That is the gap this guide is about.

Can You Actually Sell Bundles on Shopify POS?
Yes, and it works better than most merchants expect once it is set up correctly.
Shopify POS is what your staff use to process sales at the register, whether that is a permanent store, a pop-up, or an event. It runs on the same Shopify account as your website so that the same products, inventory, and orders are shared across both.
For bundle sellers this matters because it means your in-store experience and your online experience are drawing from the same place.
When a bundle sells in store, Shopify knows about it the same way it knows about an online order.
When FoxSell is installed, your bundles are available at the register the same way they are on your storefront, with the same pricing, discounts, and the customer experience.
Three bundle types work on POS right now with FoxSell:
- Fixed Bundles: A set combination of products at a fixed price. Staff search the bundle at the register, add it to the cart, and the products appear as individual line items with the bundle price applied automatically.
- Multi-Variant Bundles: The same as a fixed bundle but with a variant selection, like size or scent. Staff pick the variant the customer wants and the right products come through.
- Mix & Match Bundles: This is the build-your-own experience. Staff open the bundle in POS, tap Bundle selection, load the configuration, select the quantity tier (if applicable), choose the customer's products, add a free gift if the bundle includes one, and check out. The discount applies automatically.

How to Set Up FoxSell Bundles on Shopify POS
No developer needed here.
Our co-founder Prakhar has put together a complete step-by-step video walkthrough showing the entire setup and the Mix & Match in-store flow exactly as your staff would use it: 🎬 Watch Prakhar's full POS walkthrough here
For Fixed and Multi-Variant Bundles, here is the setup:
Step 1: Create your bundle in FoxSell exactly as you would for your online store, pick the bundle type, select products, set the pricing.
Step 2: In your Shopify Admin, go to the bundle product page, click Manage Sales Channels, and enable Point of Sale. This is what makes the bundle visible at the register.
Step 3: That is it. Your staff can now search for the bundle in the POS app and sell it.
Whereas for Mix & Match Bundles, there is one extra step:
Step 4: In the Shopify POS app, go to Settings, open POS Apps, find the “Bundle Selection”, and switch it on. This is a one-time toggle and it unlocks the in-store selection flow for Mix & Match bundles on that device.
Everything from the discount to the line items is handled automatically.
That is genuinely the full setup. Five to ten minutes and your in-store bundle experience matches what you have online.
Inventory Stays Accurate Across Both Channels Automatically
Every sale through Shopify POS updates your inventory in real time across every product inside that bundle. Sell a three-item bundle at a pop-up on Saturday and your online store shows those items as sold immediately, without any manual update.
It also works in the other direction, if a component product sells out online while your staff are mid-conversation with a customer in store, the bundle automatically becomes unavailable on POS so nobody sells something that cannot be shipped.
This is the part that matters most operationally when you are managing stock across a website and one or more physical locations.
Before Your First In-Store Day
Run your staff through the Mix & Match selection flow before the first day you use it in store. Prakhar's walkthrough video above covers the whole thing in a few minutes and it is the fastest way to get your staff comfortable with it before a customer is standing at the counter.
Keep your bundle names consistent between your website and your POS so customers who discovered a bundle online can find it immediately in person too, without any confusion.
If you are running Mix & Match bundles where a bigger selection gets a bigger discount, make sure your staff know how the tiers work so they can guide customers toward the higher value options naturally.
Why Omnichannel Bundling Works So Well for Brands With Physical Stores
When customers engage with your brand across multiple channels, they spend more and trust the brand more. That's omnichannel in practice which is not just being present everywhere, but delivering the same experience everywhere.
Bundles make that consistency visible. Let’s say a customer who sees a "Pick Any 3" bundle online and finds the exact same bundle at your store counter with same price, that builds brand trust faster than any discount or loyalty programme. They feel like they know you, and that you know them.
The in-store sales angle is real. Customers who walk in are already in a buying mindset so a well-placed bundle at the counter, they may have already seen online, is one of the easiest AOV lifts available to you.
For pop-ups, markets, and seasonal events, this matters even more. A bundle that processes instantly at a temporary register captures the energy of the moment instead of letting it fade through manual workarounds.
The shift in thinking that makes this possible is to manage your online and physical store as one unified brand, showing up consistently across two touch points.
FoxSell's POS support handles the operations side, inventory syncing, bundle availability, and consistent pricing, so once it's set up, it runs without anyone having to think about it.
Conclusion
Most brands figure this out the hard way, a customer asks for the bundle deal at the counter, the staff cannot find it, and the sale is lost. That should not be happening when the fix is genuinely this straightforward.
If you are already on FoxSell, enabling POS takes ten minutes. If you are not on FoxSell yet, this is a good place to start, especially if you have a physical store that deserves the same bundle experience your website already delivers.
Can I sell all FoxSell bundle types on Shopify POS?
Fixed Bundles, Multi-Variant Bundles, and Mix & Match Bundles all work on POS. Cross-Sell and Volume Bundles are online only for now.
Does the inventory actually sync in real time or is there a delay?
It syncs in real time. The moment a bundle sells in store, the stock for each product updates across all channels instantly.Â
Do I need to create a separate bundle just for my physical store?
No. The same bundle you create for your online store works on POS once you enable the POS sales channel on the product in Shopify admin. One setup, works for both the channels.
My staff are not very technical. Is the POS flow hard to learn?
The Fixed and Multi-Variant flows are as simple as searching for a product and adding it to a cart. The Mix & Match flow has a few more steps but Prakhar walks through the whole thing in the video linked above. Most staff get comfortable with it in under five minutes.
What happens if a product inside a bundle goes out of stock while we are selling in store?
The bundle automatically becomes unavailable on POS the moment any product runs out. Your staff will not be able to add it to the cart, so there is no risk of selling something you cannot fulfil.
